Cinq Frères
OUR STORY
An agricultural plantation with over a century-old history ...
Our brand is named after our first plantation called Cinq Frères which was first registered in 1915.
Concerned about this heritage and the environment, we have made the choice to conduct our activities in a sustainable manner, by cultivating these plots of land accordingly to the principles of agroecology. In 2019 we obtained the Organic Agriculture certification from Ecocert.
Today we are embarking on a new adventure of retail marketing. And we are proud to be able to offer our customers certified AB vanilla pods, cultivated, processed, exported and marketed by us.
This approach makes us, to date, the only players in the vanilla sector not to have recourse to any intermediary and to be able to guarantee a 100% product traced to the field for the final consumer.
Our promise
Our mission is to bring producers closer to consumers, on one hand to offer new opportunities and better income to our local partners and on the other hand to guarantee products of better quality and with less environmental impact to our customers.
High quality
Our vanilla and our spices are processed with the greatest care from source to shelf.
100% Responsible
We take responsibility for the environmental and social impact of our business.
Guaranteed origin
We work every day to improve our traceability systems and to obtain supplies as close as possible to the production areas.
The best value for money
By selling direct from the source, we can offer our customers better prices without compromising on quality.
Creation of positive social impact
Through our involvement in the association Inside Madagascar, we participate in the support of vanilla producers in the region guaranteeing them an economic outlet.
Involved in the field, we also provide them with training on the preparation of vanilla in order to improve quality and enable them to capture a greater part of the added value of the sector.
We focus on education, enhancement of quality, fair remuneration and the popularization of good farming practices in order to have a positive impact on the development of local communities and to limit that of the vanilla sector on the environment.
